Nametag compliant with ADM 8-0:

Shall be silver or gold and have the employee’s first and middle initials along with the last name. The name plate shall be 3/4” x 3” with .25” to .2656” black Gothic lettering (depending on length of name). Nameplates can be secured to the uniform by a two-prong clutch or safety pin style back and shall be placed on the right side at badge level.

  • Captain and below – silver name plate
  • PSS, AFM, Battalion Chief, Assistant Chief, and Fire Chief – gold name plate
